For the same cost as a typical spending budget Chromebook, you can obtain a Chromebook that’s furthermore a tablet.

If you aren’t shopping for a spending budget Chromebook, you probably understand what to expect: a reasonably low-resolution display, not very much storage, so-so battery lifetime. All that’s OK in case the intended user will be, say, a middle-school pupil who just must function on assignments in Google Classroom.

But if that Chromebook can also double because an Android tablet? For the same price because a standard Chromebook? Now we’re talking. And that is exactly the case right here: For a limited period, and while supplies final, Walmart has the Acer Spin 311 11.6-inch Chromebook for $199. That’s $100 off the regular cost.

The Spin 311 has “basic Chromebook” written all over it, from its MediaTek processor chip to its 32GB associated with storage to its thick-bezeled display. The key distinction, though, is the joint that allows that touch screen display to wrap the full 360 degrees. So in addition to camping tent and presentation modes, you are able to switch to full-on pill mode — complete along with Android apps.

There’s furthermore a USB-C port with regard to charging plus whatnot, and a Type-A USB slot for legacy devices. Acer opted for Wi-Fi five here instead of Wi-Fi 6, but I question that will be an issue for most users.
